Getting Started

You can register online through our Studio Pro parent portal by clicking the "Register Now" button on our website. If you need help choosing the right class, call us at 352.748.1508 and we'll walk you through it.

Not at all. We offer beginner classes for every age group starting at age 3. Our instructors will place your dancer in the level that best fits their experience and ability.

We welcome dancers starting at age 3 through our Tiny Tots program, which combines Ballet, Tap, and Acrobatics in a fun and nurturing environment.

Yes we do. Simply choose a class that you're interested in and come on the day and time specified. Let the receptionist know that you are here for a free trial of that particular class. You may observe or participate. Then let the attendant know what you thought after the class is over.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition is based on the total number of class hours your dancer is enrolled in per week — not the number of weeks in a given month. This means tuition remains the same every month regardless of whether a month has more or fewer class days due to holidays, breaks, or calendar variations. For example, a student enrolled in a 1 hour class per week will have a monthly tuition cost of $55. See our Class Fees page for the full tuition chart.

Tuition is billed monthly via auto pay. A valid credit card, debit card, or ACH checking or savings account must be kept on file.

Yes, there is a one-time registration fee of $20.00 per student each season.

Yes. Families with one sibling enrolled receive $10 off total monthly tuition. Families with two or more siblings receive $15 off total monthly tuition.

Classes & Schedule

We offer Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acrobatics, Pointe, and Hip Hop for recreational students, plus a full company training program for competitive dancers.

Class lengths vary by level and discipline. Most classes run 30 minutes to 1 hour. Some advanced and company classes run up to 1.5 hours.

Absolutely. Many of our students take multiple classes each week. Our staff can help you build a schedule that fits your dancer's goals and availability.

Some classes fill up quickly. If a class shows as full on the schedule, contact us at 352.748.1508 to be added to a waitlist.

Recitals & Performances

Yes. We hold a Christmas Recital in December and an End of Year Recital in June, both at West Port High School PAC in Ocala. All recreational and company dancers participate.

Recitals are a wonderful opportunity for dancers to perform and grow. Contact us for details on participation requirements for your dancer's specific classes.

Competition Team

IMPACT's competition team competes at regional and national competitions across Florida and beyond. The team has earned over 100 top awards since 2014, including national titles.

Auditions are held every July, the Saturday following Summer Dance Camp. Students must attend Summer Dance Camp to be considered, where they will be observed and learn audition combinations.

Recreational classes are open to all students and focus on technique, fun, and performance. Company classes are for competitive dancers who have auditioned and been selected for the team. Company students have a higher training commitment and compete throughout the season.

What to Wear

Leotard, tights, and the appropriate dance shoes for your selected class are required. Street clothes are not permitted. Hair must be pulled back and out of the face.

IMPACT Dance Studio has an on-site boutique where you can find dancewear, shoes, and accessories for all styles and levels.

Studio Policies

We understand that life happens. Contact us in advance if your dancer will be absent. Tuition is not refunded for missed classes but we encourage consistent attendance for your dancer's progress.

Private lessons must be cancelled at least 4 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations made after that window will be charged the full lesson fee regardless of attendance.

Yes. Proper dance attire is required for all classes. No street clothes. Hair pulled back. Specific shoe requirements vary by class style — our staff can advise you when you register.
